40 Vulnerabilities Patched in Android With August 2023 Security Updates
Google has recently released the August 2023 security updates for the Android operating system, patching a total of 40 vulnerabilities. Among these vulnerabilities, the most serious one is identified as CVE-2023-21273, which is a critical remote code execution issue affecting the System component. This vulnerability can be exploited without any user interaction or elevated privileges.
Critical Vulnerabilities
In addition to CVE-2023-21273, several other vulnerabilities have also been rated as “critical” by Google. These include:
- CVE-2023-21282: A remote code execution flaw in the Media Framework component.
